1. Can she dance? If she can not show the moves to your child she is not a teacher. She is a studio owner.
2. Who does she associate with? Really? You didn’t think of this? A well known dance teacher invited a man from England into her studio and he was arrested for Child porn. That’s right taking nude pics of little dancers. You really don’t think you need to know the associate. Keep your child at home then.
3.Do they scream at the children? Are the children there smiling and happy and look like they are facing the firing squad.
4. What has come from their studio? Any working dancers? Are you in it for fun or to make a dance career for your child? And if its to make a career is this your dream or your childs. Don’t force your child to live your dreams.
5. Don’t seek fame and fortune. Love your child for who they are. If they want to dance that’s great. The first time they say I don’t want to do this anymore find what they do want to do but do not force your child to do what you wanted to do and couldn’t.
What? none of these seem like reasons for picking a dance studio? Your right they are not. They are reasons you should never force your child to do something for you instead of for them.
